MAY 25 | ABAY SQUARE in front of the REPUBLIC PALACE
A groovy mix of Latin American and European music combined with distinctive African melodies - all this is Childo Tomas. Do not miss!
The infectious music of Childo Tomas is based on the combination of the Mozambican rhythms of Marambet, deeply connected with the traditional styles of the native country of Thomas, mixed with jazz and influenced by the cultures of Brazil, Venezuela and Mexico. Mozambican bassist for a long time studied the traditional and pop music from different parts of Africa, and, of course, Mozambique itself. In addition to bass, Child masterly plays M'bira (an African wooden plucked instrument), and sings in different languages.
