AK DAN GWANG CHIL (South Korea)

JULY 6 | SQUARE IN FRONT OF BAYTEREK MONUMENT
Ak Dan Gwang Chil uses the musical principles of the western provinces of South Korea to create a unique sound.
Ak Dan Gwang Chil band was organized in 2015, to the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Korea. The group creates music based on old Hwanghae-do shamanic songs to communicate with the world through it. In Korean traditional music, it is also called seo-do (west coast).

The project aims to artistically reflect the importance of combining modern music, emphasizing the importance of a particular culture and tradition.
